Microsoft Research Demos Their Translating Telephone Project
Posted on02. Mar, 2010 by zevmo.

My first impressions are relatively positive. This service will definitely get better. But I [...]

The holy grail in Technology is finding the right product, at the right price, at the right time in a product’s life-cycle. Retrevo tries to coordinate these different factors, and give customers a decent smattering of review site related to that product.
There are a few very cool parts of the site. I really appreciate the [...]

YouTube learning from Hulu?
Posted on26. Nov, 2009 by zevmo.
Looking through several tile repair videos, I was hit up with an advertisement on YouTube. Surprise! Gee, you think Google is trying to figure out a way to pay for this site, and the 1080p future of content?
I found it very interesting that a 1 minute, 54 second video had a 30 second ad. They [...]

Firefox 3.6 Beta 1 crash
Posted on28. Oct, 2009 by zevmo.
All browsers crash. I don’t care what anyone says. But running Mozilla Firefox 3.6 Beta 1, I found a cool little feature. Previously, when your browser crashed, you would have the option of restoring upon restart.
Many browsers (IE, Safari, Opera) are offering this feature now. Firefox took this operation to another level. Usually it is [...]
