Problem with iPhoto 9.0 (iLife ’11) and calendars

There is a wonderful option for iPhoto users to create fantastic looking calendars using their library of photographs and then import their ical events. Unfortunately there is a bug that only allows one event per day, so holidays and birthdays just cannot exist on the same day.
Just before the holiday season, don’t you think it would be a good idea for Apple to get this fixed?
