Verizon Confirms Buy One Get One Free Offer for Pre Plus and Pixi Plus

Posted on 22. Jan, 2010 by zevmo in Mobile, Palm, Technology, Verizon

Verizon confirmed the prices for the Palm Pre Plus and Pixi Plus.  The Pre Plus will be $149.99 after a $100 rebate, and the Pixi Plus will be $99.99 after the same mail-in rebate. Of course, this is with a two-year contract.  If you act before February 14th, anyone who buys a Pre Plus or Pixi Plus will get a Pixi Plus free.  Pretty sweet deal!  When we get our hands on a demo model, we’ll give you an in-depth review.

The Plus models offer more internal storage (8GB Pixi Plus, 16GB Pre Plus), wireless charging cases come standard, and Wi-Fi (Pixi Plus).

Check the Verizon site for availability (in-store and on-line) starting on January 25th, 2010.

Blackberry is an antiquated OS, and the apps are really bad. Android, at least, has some really nice features and halfway decent apps. Google integration is great. GPS navigation is fantastic.
