There are a few benefits to this configuration. Mainly that it uses USB for audio, which makes it a hell of a lot simpler for the mixing to HDMI, IMHO. I am going to pick one up and let you know how it goes.

- This device is not Bidirectional. It can only connect a Mini-DisplayPort source to an HDMI display. It will not work in reverse.
