Apple CFO says DVR, CableCARD not coming to Apple TV

They say, never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity. This is Apple in a nutshell. Why do they always do this? THey said, “it didn’t mesh with Apple’s business”. Yeah, I could see how controlling the Home Media interface with all of your sources could really be a bummer, Apple. How about being able to watch and then choose ‘purchase’? Yeah, how horrible. I swear, they did this with the Newton, and they could be in control of the entire netbook market by now.
Steve, I think the team that directed you away from this, needs to be the group that “doesn’t mesh with Apple’s business.”
